Privacy Policy

Last updated: 6/9/26

This Privacy Policy explains what information AshleyBenbow.com collects when you visit www.ashleybenbow.com and how we use it. We keep this short on purpose: this is a simple website, and we collect as little as possible.

Information we collect

Contact form. If you fill out our contact form, we collect the information you choose to provide — typically your name, email address, and the contents of your message. We use this solely to read and respond to your inquiry. We don't sell it, and we don't use it for marketing unless you've separately agreed to that.

Bot protection (Cloudflare Turnstile). Our contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, an invisible tool that helps tell human visitors apart from automated bots. It usually runs without requiring any action from you. To do this, Cloudflare processes signals such as your IP address, browser and device information (User-Agent), a TLS fingerprint, and the site identifier and its origin. According to Cloudflare, these signals are used only to detect and block bots — not to identify, profile, or track you — and Cloudflare states it cannot directly identify individuals from them. Cloudflare acts as our data processor for this purpose, and also uses the signals as a data controller to improve its own bot-detection. You can read the details in Cloudflare's Turnstile Privacy Addendum.

How we use your information

We use the information you submit through the contact form only to respond to you. We use Turnstile only to keep the form free of spam and abuse.

How we share information

We don't sell your personal information. The limited data described above is shared only with the service providers that make this site work — namely Cloudflare (hosting, content delivery, and bot protection). [If you use email to receive form submissions, add your email/forwarding provider here, e.g. "and [EMAIL PROVIDER], which delivers your message to our inbox."]

We may disclose information if required to do so by law.

How long we keep it

We keep contact-form messages only as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and for our records, then delete them. We delete messages after 12 months.

Your choices and rights

You can contact us at any time (see below) to ask what information we hold about you, to request a correction, or to ask us to delete it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA. If you'd like to exercise those rights, just reach out.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
